Rebekah Talbot: a Nashville wedding film photographer
A classic wedding in the heart of Gallatin, full of friends, beautiful gowns, and a handsome bride and groom. When Adam asked Caroline to marry him last year, he had no idea what would be in store for their wedding: a pandemic that nearly made their dream wedding change, but thankfully let up just enough for a celebration. Despite the lonely season and confusing circumstances, Adam and Caroline’s wedding was full of joy. It was almost a dream, reminding me of the time before our world had changed. This hope and love filled Caroline and Adam and poured out onto every guest.
You see, throughout the day, both Adam and Caroline were thinking of others. Upon arrival, Caroline immediately began helping her bridesmaids with make up. Adam was finishing up logistics and making sure everything was right where it needed to be. Then, when it was time for their first look, I watched as two people, so busy helping others, had all their busy nerves melt away. When they saw each other, they both laughed in disbelief, in an “is this real?” kind of way. When the ceremony followed, those laughs turned into tears as Adam watched Caroline walk down the aisle. Throughout their ceremony, Caroline held onto Adam, and they both clung tight.
Not only were Caroline and Adam feeling the beautiful and serious weight of their ceremony, but their parents were as well. At one point, I looked over to see both Caroline’s mom and dad wiping tears away. At another moment, I watched as Adam’s dad tearfully led them in communion while Adam’s brother sang.
It was a sincere, thoughtful ceremony full of meaning in each small action.
That beautiful ceremony led to a fun celebration with a wonderful meal and lots of dancing. Just take a look below and tell me no one was having fun. Caroline and Adam clearly have many friends who were excited to celebrate them! And I can’t forget to mention those friends’ wedding attire. The bridesmaids wore various styles and shades of blush in unique Birdy Grey gowns (with two bridesmaids showing off sequin and beaded dresses) while the men had on small floral print ties that tied into the blush, green and white theme. These simple patterns and colors were the perfect accent to all of the white florals. Take a look at their gorgeous wedding party and you’ll know what I mean. They are stunning!
Congratulations Mrs. and Mrs. Pierce!! I am incredibly thankful to have celebrated the day with you and am even more excited to see how your lives unfold together. Thank you for letting me be just a tiny part in such a magical day!
