Fall weddings are already beautiful, but pair it with the gorgeous Tennessee mountains and you have a dream day. Jacklyn and Jonathon became Mr. and Mrs. at her home church in Bristol, then they celebrated at Hoovanna Farms, just nestled in the Tennessee hills. Their wedding day flowed seamlessly, and I was impressed by their thoughtful friends and family. From timelines to communications, to dress fluffing and snack-duty, they cared for everyone. I was even asked multiple times if I needed water or food, which is so rare on wedding days! It was just a sign of their thoughtfulness.

One of my favorite moments was when Jacklyn and Jonathon said their vows. As they began to speak, you could tell that each word carried meaning. Through tears, they vowed to support, cherish, and respect each other. I had no doubt that Jacklyn and Jonathon meant what they said. To further display their commitment to each other, they participated in the ordinance of feet washing. I was humbled as I watch a bride, in her beautiful gown, kneel on the ground to wash her groom’s feet. Like the Savior symbolized for us–a groom to the bride, His church–their marriage will be founded on servant-hearted love.

As you look through these images from their day, take in those gorgeous fall colors, laughing faces, playful moments, and loving expressions. Jacklyn and Jonathon, what an honor to be at your wedding day and to experience what God is doing in your lives. I cannot wait to watch the days to come.
