It was a misty day in historic Signal Mountain, Tennessee as hundreds of friends gathered to celebrate the marriage of Charlotte and Robert. After getting ready at her home, Charlotte met Robert at her home church. There they sang, shared vows, welcomed family, and celebrated the first moments of being Mr. and Mrs. Carpenter. At Charlotte’s family home, a gorgeous tented reception welcomed them as they joyfully danced and laughed the night away.
I admired how Charlotte and Robert’s wedding day was full of significance and purpose. They intentionally surrounded themselves with close family and friends throughout the day, they sang beautiful, deep hymns during their ceremony, and spent time welcoming and embracing their guests. It was obvious that Charlotte and Robert felt the significance and beauty of their marriage commitment.
And because they understood the importance of the day, they were able to celebrate joyfully! While there was delicious food and drinks for all, the main event was celebrated on the dance floor. With their fantastic band, 14 Karat Gold, leading the way, Charlotte and Robert danced, sang, and laughed until dark. It was so much fun watching just how much everyone enjoyed celebrating this couple. When you are in love and will be forever, it is easy to spend your entire day laughing together.
I hope you enjoy seeing the beauty, joy, and sincerity of Charlotte and Robert’s wedding day. I was honored to be there to document such a wonderfully fun evening.
