Just two weeks ago, Laina and Michael brought their sweet Remi Kay home to her adorable blush nursery. Wrapped in a soft swaddle, she was hugged, loved, and given a paci by her big brother. 🙂 It was obvious that Remi Kay was going to be a princess in her house. By the way she posed for the camera, I think she knew it.
My favorite aspect of in-home newborn photos is watching real life unfold. Soothing cries, taking feeding breaks, and watching big brother play with toys: the photos show the exciting new normal for a family of four. I think those picture perfect moments are often unplanned. Take a look at how big brother loved on his sister, Mom soothed Remi’s cries, and Dad gazed into baby’s brown eyes. Their love is written all over their faces.
Take a peek at this thick head of dark hair!! Remi also had a creamy smooth complexion to match it. Dad better get ready, she will be a beautiful woman.
Laina had a special request to incorporate her beautiful china set with a photo of Remi Kay. All of these delicate dishes were Laina’s grandmothers. I think it is a beautiful tribute to the women in Remi’s life and how their legacy will continue through Laina. These two photos are some of my favorite ever taken simple because of their powerful sentiment and message.
Remi Kay, you are an amazing baby girl, crafted by God and loved by so many. I can’t wait to watch you grow up!
